防虫効果があり防食性があり弊社の標準仕様にしているレッドシーダーですが

最近世間でも頻繁に使用されているようです。

YAHOOニュースでこのような記事がありました。

機能はもちろん濃淡の強い樹種なのでストライプのような柄になり意匠性も優れています。

外部のみならず内部の天井や壁に使用されるケースの多くあります。

中には屋根も外壁も全てレッドシーダーなんて家もあります。

個人的にはあまり大きい面には使わずアクセントとして使うのがオシャレだと思います。

いいものは認められ広まっていくんですね。
